Description

Water supply contains a large proportion of ground water, it has high levels of minerals, including calcium and magnesium. These minerals form limescale, which is bad news for your machine. Limescale reduces the efficiency of the heating elements and blocks up valves and pipes.
Isomac has designed a water softener specifically for use in their espresso machines, to reduce the occurrence of limescale and protect your machine.

Using this ion exchange water softener filter in an economical solution to soften household water for use with an espresso machine. This water filter does not only prevent scale built up, but also filters sediment and prevent small particles from traveling into your espresso machine components.
Scale build-up is known as the number one enemy of espresso machine boilers and Sediment can clog water passages in no time. Use this water softener for trouble free life of your espresso maker and for better tasting coffee.
The 3 way espresso machine water filter fits inside a standard water tank and connect directly to the intake hose. It has 3 time more active material than a standard Brita water filter, contain only pure white resin and can be recharged with salt.
It removes scale and substances from the water which negatively affect the taste, aroma and body of the espresso shot extracted out of you espresso maker. The scale built up negatively affect the mechanics of your espresso machine.
Replacing the filter periodically is recommended for maximum efficiency of water softening and maximum 3 way protection of scale, sediment and foreign particles.
Although this filter can be recharged, It is recommended to replace the filter every 30 Litres or 250 coffee cups, whatever comes first, Max 45-60 days.
If you are a handy man you can refill it with new resin found in our shop too.
